It was barely a month after d demise of BJP General Secretary Mr.Pramod Mahajan n then…the whole nation, especially Mumbai saw his only son Rahul battling for life in Delhi’s Apollo Hospital and his own personal Secy. Vivek Moitra; DEAD The news spread like wild fire across all the news channels. People saw reporters swarming around d hospital wid mics and cameras struggling to get every bit of information.

Investigations by the police n efforts put in by d reporters revealed a late night party which was being held by Rahul n Vivek Moitra at d Safdarjung Rd. residence of the Late. Mr. Pramod Mahajan. Der was wine, der was dine and hold ur breath….there was poison…or was der not? Was it an overdose of lethal drugs or was it a deliberate attempt of MURDER?? V still remain partially UNAWARE bout d sequence of events dat took place in dat ill-fated house…..neways…it most certainly killed 1 and yeah, it almost killed d other…

It is assumed dat d Mahajan  resi. housed around 4 men other than d inmates on d fateful nite.

Helpers in d house declined 2 have EVER seen d  4 frenz who had supposedly been invited 2 d party by d deceased…WHO WERE THEY??……..1 of them had left prematurely b4 d party actually ended……Y??  After d consumption of champagne (supposedly, mixed wid sum ‘white’ powder…..Was it cocaine? Was it heroine or was it simply…POISON??) , Vivek dies n Rahul collapses….nuthin happens to any of d 4 frenz…HOW?? (Hmmm…..Quite fishy!)Immediately, d servants rush d duo 2 d Apollo Hospital….vivek already lifeless...THE 4 FRENZ HAVE DISAPPEARED…WHERE??

A packet of ‘White’ powder was found stuffed in2 1 of Rahul’s back pockets….WHAT WAS IT??

Rahul struggles for life in d I.C.U of Apollo hosp. on an invasive ventilator  support…His condition is described as ‘critical but stable’…Family n frenz rush frm Mumbai 2 b by his side…But d 4 ‘Frenz’ are still missing….Police still continues 2 investigate…Strange revelations r made…..

Ø      Vivek Moitra invited d 4 frenz…

Ø      Apparently, a lot of champagne was consumed by all present…

Ø      Residue of sum ‘white’ powder found in d champagne glasses… (Hey, dnt u think this ‘white’ pwd is creating a lot of nuisance??)

Ø      Moitra n Mahajan puke after d consumption n fall ill….

Ø      Police claims dat a lot of evidence has been tampered wid…

Rahul’s condition is described (by d hosp.) as stable with B.P. , blood sugar et al coming back steadily 2 normal…Vivek’s  body is sent 4 post-mortem 2 AIIMS…..The case becomes increasingly intriguing…

Later in d evening d Delhi police r rewarded wid a surprise…3 out of d 4 suspects -cum - ‘frenz’

surrender 2 d police…They admit der was ‘cocaine’ being dun…. (Well, dats wat d disturbing ‘white’ pwd was; apparently…) But, they deny being involved wid Mahajan or evn wid Moitra...Infact, they evn  refuse 2 hvng dun cocaine…Police finally get d missing link…Sahil Zaroo… regular ‘drug peddler’!

Investigations still continue…Next morning…Sahil, along wid his lawyer tracked down in Srinagar…HELL, WAT WAS HE DOIN DER??Y SRINAGAR, OF ALL D PLACES?? Claims 2 b completely innocent n infact, a victim of d circumstances…Contacts d media 1^st n den d police…Ultimately surrenders ...(Claims dat he wants 2 help d police investigate….hey, dats sounds so so suspicious!)

Police files a case for ‘drug abuse’ under sum damn ‘narcotics act’... …Moitra’s post-mortem report shws traces of sum sort of poison while Rahul is givn a clean chit….. Munde demands 4 ‘attempt to murder’ angle being probed….

Meanwhile, Rahul’s condition improves dramatically….he’s finally removed frm d ventilator support n gains partial consciousness et al……Not fit 2 give statements 2 d police as yet…Perhaps, his views may change d whole scenario or may b he’ll plead guilty

Unfortunately, d mystery behind the whole tragic incident still remains unraveled...the questions still remain unanswered… Was it a conspiracy? Or was it an accident? Was it a well constructed move or was it an inadvertent catastrophe??

Well, well, well doesn’t it sound like one of d perfect Agatha Christie mysteries??
